Keeping Families Safer with TrackR.
Modern technologies can help families in managing the care needs of loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive or emotional disabilities. Through our TrackR project, The Brain Fund seeks to provide free GPS tracking devices to families in need across the country. Our TrackR device works with your smartphone to allow you to track down missing family members quickly and efficiently. This can provide added peace of mind for those who serve as primary caregivers for these individuals and can allow prompt response by public safety personnel for cases in which the missing person may be in danger.
We distribute these devices through local police departments as well as directly through the help of our volunteers and participants. You can also contact The Brain Fund directly to determine if your situation qualifies you to receive a free TrackR device.
